ICSE, ISC 2026 datesheet coming soon

CISCE to release 2026 ICSE, ISC exam schedule soon on Official Website

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will soon announce the date sheet for the ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 exams for the year 2026. Students, parents, and teachers are eagerly waiting for this update because it will help them plan their studies better. The date sheet will be available online on the official CISCE website — cisce.org.

In the past years, CISCE has released exam schedules around November. For example, last year the Class 10 and Class 12 date sheet was announced on November 25. This year too, the announcement is expected in the same time frame. Based on the past pattern, students can expect the exams to begin in February 2026.

The Class 10 ICSE exams in 2025 were held from February 18 to March 27. The ISC Class 12 exams took place from February 13 to April 5. Looking at these dates, the 2026 exams are also likely to be conducted during February and March for both ICSE and ISC students.

How to download the ICSE and ISC 2026 date sheet

Once the date sheet is released, students can easily download it from the official website. The process is simple and takes only a few minutes. Below are the steps to download the ICSE and ISC 2026 exam schedule:

  1. Visit the official website of CISCE — cisce.org.

  2. On the homepage, look for the link that says “ICSE, ISC date sheet 2026.”

  3. Click on the link, and a PDF file of the timetable will open on the screen.

  4. Download the PDF and save it on your device.

  5. Take a printout of the PDF so that you can keep a copy for daily reference.

The printed timetable will be very useful as students can mark important exam days and plan their revision accordingly. Teachers also suggest that students use the printed sheet to create a personal study timetable.

Details about ICSE and ISC 2026 admit card

Apart from the exam timetable, another important document for students is the admit card or hall ticket. The CISCE will release the admit card three to four days before the exams begin. This document is necessary because without it, students will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

Here are the steps to download the ICSE and ISC admit card once it is released:

  1. Visit the official website — cisce.org.

  2. Click on the link for “ICSE, ISC admit card 2026.”

  3. Enter your application number and date of birth to log in.

  4. The hall ticket will appear on the screen.

  5. Download the PDF and take a printout.

The admit card will have important details like the student’s name, roll number, subject codes, exam centre, and exam dates. Students must check all the information carefully. If there is any mistake, they should immediately inform the school authorities or the CISCE office.

It is also important for students to carry a valid photo identity card along with the admit card to the exam centre. Most schools advise students to keep at least two printouts of the admit card in case one is misplaced.

Why the date sheet is important for students

The exam timetable is one of the most awaited announcements every year for students. Once the date sheet is released, it gives them a clear picture of how many days they will get between two subjects. This helps them prepare a strategy for revision.

For example, if there are only one or two days between two major exams, students know that they must revise in advance. On the other hand, if they get a longer gap between exams, they can plan to study other subjects first and then come back to revise.

Teachers also stress the importance of following the timetable once it is out. Many schools will organize revision sessions, mock tests, and doubt-clearing classes based on the official exam schedule. Parents also use the timetable to create a proper environment at home for study, like reducing distractions and ensuring that students have enough rest.

What students should do now

Even though the official date sheet has not yet been released, students should not wait to start their preparation. Since the exams are expected in February 2026, only a few months are left. Experts suggest that students should complete their syllabus by December 2025 and then use January for revision and practice.

Students are also advised to practice previous years’ question papers. This will help them understand the type of questions asked in exams and manage time better. Writing practice is very important for both Class 10 and Class 12 exams because the papers are usually lengthy.

Another useful tip is to make small notes and charts for quick revision. These notes are very helpful during the last week of exams when students need to revise quickly. Teachers also say that students should focus on NCERT and CISCE textbooks first, as most questions are based on these books.

The ICSE and ISC 2026 exams are very important milestones in the lives of students. Class 10 exams are the first board exams, and Class 12 exams play a big role in deciding college admissions. Therefore, students should take the upcoming months seriously and prepare with full focus.

Once the CISCE releases the official date sheet on cisce.org, students should download it immediately and keep checking the website for further updates. The hall ticket will also be released shortly before the exams, so students must be ready to download and print it on time.

With proper planning, hard work, and regular practice, students can perform well in these exams. The date sheet will soon give them a clear roadmap to follow, and after that, their main focus should be to revise and stay confident.
